Learning Overview
Protoqual learning is designed to help healthcare teams strengthen patient experience skills through short, consistent learning moments.
Rather than long training sessions, Protoqual delivers small learning activities over time that reinforce important concepts in daily practice.
Learning in Protoqual follows a simple structure:
Missions → Activities → Scores → Credits → Certificates
Missions
Learning is organized into programs called missions.
A mission runs over a defined period and includes a sequence of short learning activities delivered over time.
This structure helps teams build skills gradually through consistent participation rather than one-time training events.
Activities
Each mission includes short learning activities.
An activity typically includes:
- A short video
- A quiz to reinforce key ideas
- A study guide with key takeaways
Most activities take less than five minutes to complete.
Mission Scores
Mission scores reflect how consistently learners complete their assigned activities during a mission.
Scores range from 0 to 5, with 5 representing full engagement.
If an activity is missed, the score will decrease. However, completing overdue activities before the mission ends can restore the score.
Credits and Certificates
Credits are earned by completing assigned learning activities.
As credits accumulate, learners progress through the PX Certificate Program, which recognizes long-term participation and continued learning.
Learning Library
All Protoqual videos are available in the Learning Library, where learners can explore topics anytime.
Videos watched in the library support additional learning and exploration but do not affect mission scores or earn credits, since credits are awarded only for assigned mission activities.
