Understanding Mission Scores
Mission scores reflect how consistently learners complete assigned activities during a mission.
Each learner begins the mission with the opportunity to maintain a perfect engagement score by completing activities as they are assigned.
If an activity is missed, the mission score will decrease. However, completing overdue activities before the mission ends will restore the score.
This means learners can return to a perfect score at any point during the mission by completing all assigned activities.
Score Range
Mission scores range from 0 to 5, reflecting different levels of participation.
| Score | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 5 | Fully engaged |
| 4 | Strong engagement |
| 3 | Moderate engagement |
| 2 | Low engagement |
| 1 | Minimal engagement |
| 0 | No recent activity |
The goal is to stay close to 5 by completing activities consistently throughout the mission.
When a Mission Ends
At the end of a mission:
- Scores are finalized
- Progress is recorded
- Results become part of mission history
Once a mission closes, the scores and credits from that mission cannot be changed.
Any activities that were not completed may be reassigned in a future mission if your organization is using Protoqual’s default assignment logic.
