Protoqual recognizes consistent learning through credits and certificate milestones.
Credits are earned when learners complete assigned activities during missions.
As credits accumulate, learners progress through the PX Certificate Program.
Assigned Learning vs. On-Demand Learning
Protoqual includes both assigned learning and on-demand learning.
Assigned Activities
Assigned activities:
- Are part of missions
- Earn credits
- Contribute to certificate levels
On-Demand Learning
Videos watched in the Learning Library are considered on-demand learning.
On-demand learning:
- Is optional
- Does not earn credits
- Does not affect mission scores
The library is designed for learners who want to revisit topics or explore additional skills beyond their assigned activities.

Streaks and Crowns
Protoqual also includes recognition features designed to celebrate consistent participation.
Streaks
A streak represents consecutive periods of completed participation.
Maintaining a streak reflects ongoing engagement with learning activities.
If participation is missed during a mission, the streak may reset.
Crowns
Crowns recognize exceptional quiz performance.
A crown is awarded when a learner:
- Scores 100% on the quiz on their first attempt
If the same activity is assigned again in a future mission, the opportunity to earn a crown resets.
