Rewards, Certificates, and Progress
Protoqual recognizes learning through certificates, rewards, and milestones.
As you complete activities, your progress builds across different areas—each with clear thresholds.
Each level you reach contributes to your overall progress and impact.
How Progress Works
There are two main types of learning:
Assigned Learning (Missions)
When you complete assigned activities:
- You earn credits
- You progress through certificate levels
- You contribute to rewards like Mission Complete
On-Demand Learning (Library)
When you complete activities in the Learning Library:
- You progress toward the Explorer reward
- Every 25 activities completed moves you forward
On-demand learning does not affect credits or mission score.
Certificates (Your Core Progress)
Certificates track your long-term progress through credits earned.
Each completed activity earns a credit. As your credits increase, you move through certificate levels.

Rewards track different ways you engage with learning.
Mission Complete
Earned by completing all assigned activities in a mission.
Crown Collector
Earned by scoring 100% on your first quiz attempt.

How Trees Are Earned
Trees are tied to levels across all rewards and certificates.
Each time you reach a new level:
- A tree is planted
This includes:
- Certificate levels (credits)
- Reward levels (streaks, crowns, etc.)
How to Progress
To build progress across all areas:
- Complete assigned activities regularly
- Avoid overdue activities
- Aim for 100% on your first quiz attempt
