Learning Library and On-Demand Learning
The Learning Library is where on-demand learning happens in Protoqual.
The library allows you to:
- Rewatch topics you’ve previously completed
- Explore topics that have not yet been assigned
- Review concepts at your own pace
The Learning Library is designed for on-demand learning and exploration.
How On-Demand Learning Works
Unlike assigned activities in your mission, watching videos in the library:
- Does not affect your mission score
- Does not earn credits toward certificates
Credits and mission progress are only earned by completing assigned mission activities.
On-Demand Learning and Rewards
On-demand learning still contributes to your overall progress through Explorer rewards.
As you complete on-demand activities:
- You progress toward the Explorer badge
- Your activity contributes to your overall impact (such as trees planted)
On-demand rewards accumulate over time and are designed to recognize continued learning beyond your assigned mission.

When to Use the Learning Library
Learners often use the library to:
- Revisit topics they found helpful
- Explore additional skills beyond assigned activities
- Continue learning at their own pace
