How Practice Managers Can Improve Mission Scores
Practice managers play an important role in supporting learning participation across their team.
Mission scores reflect how consistently learners complete their assigned activities, so encouraging participation and maintaining an accurate learner roster can have a meaningful impact on the overall score.
Encourage Weekly Participation
Most missions include one short activity per week.
Reminding staff to complete their activity during the week it appears helps maintain strong engagement across the team.
Managers often encourage participation by:
- Mentioning the weekly activity during team meetings
- Sending reminders to staff
- Discussing the topic briefly during team huddles
Even small reminders can help keep learning visible and consistent.
Review Inactive Learners
Learners who have five or more consecutive overdue assignments are considered inactive.
Inactive learners may affect the practice mission score if they remain listed as active participants.
Practice managers can review inactive learners from the Inactive Learners section on the My Practice page.
Remove Former Staff Members
If someone has left the practice but still appears in the system, their inactivity may impact the mission score.
Removing accounts for staff who are no longer part of the organization helps ensure the score reflects the participation of the current team.
Recognize Participation
Celebrating participation can help reinforce engagement.
Some practices recognize learners who:
- Maintain strong mission scores
- Complete activities consistently
- Earn PX certificates
Positive recognition helps create a culture where learning becomes part of the team’s routine.
