Viewing Survey Responses
The Survey Responses page displays individual patient survey submissions. This view allows organizations to review both numeric survey scores and written patient feedback in one place.
While dashboards summarize results across many responses, the Survey Responses page shows the full details of each individual survey submission.
Response Table
Each row in the table represents a single patient survey response.
Depending on the survey configuration, the table may include:
- Response Date – when the survey was submitted
- Provider – the provider associated with the visit
- Survey Questions and Scores – the patient’s responses to survey questions
- Free Text Comments – optional written feedback from the patient
- Selected Language – the language used when completing the survey
This layout allows users to review the complete context of each response.
Viewing Survey Questions
The questions shown in the table depend on the selected survey.
For example, surveys may include questions related to:
- Net Promoter Score (NPS)
- Office staff helpfulness
- Appointment access
- Care coordination
- Custom questions configured by the organization
Each column shows the patient’s response to that question.
Viewing Free Text Comments
If a patient provides written feedback, it appears directly in the table.
Free text comments may include:
- Feedback about providers
- Comments about staff
- Suggestions for improvement
- Positive recognition of care experiences
These comments provide valuable context behind survey scores.
Switching Between Response Views
At the top of the page, users can switch between two views.
All Responses
The All Responses view shows every survey submission, including:
- Numeric scores
- Multiple choice answers
- Free text comments
This provides a complete view of each survey response.
Free Text Responses
The Free Text Responses view shows only responses that include written comments.
This makes it easier to review patient feedback without scrolling through responses that contain only numeric scores.
Why Survey Responses Matter
Survey dashboards summarize trends, but individual responses provide the patient perspective behind the data.
Reviewing responses helps organizations:
- Understand the context behind survey scores
- Identify recurring patient concerns
- Recognize positive patient experiences
- Gather insights directly from patient comments
This page provides the most detailed view of patient feedback collected through surveys.
