Understanding User Status
When viewing users in Protoqual, each user will have an Account Status.
This status shows whether the user has activated their Protoqual account or if they still need to complete their setup.
User status may appear in different areas of the platform depending on your role, such as:
- My Practice
- My Group
- Other user management pages
Active
Active means the user has successfully activated their Protoqual account.
The user has:
- Accepted their invitation
- Created their login credentials
- Logged into Protoqual
Active users can access the platform and participate in learning activities and surveys.
Sending Loop Invites
Sending Loop Invites means the system is currently sending invitation reminders to the user.
When a user is added to Protoqual, the platform automatically sends an invitation email asking them to activate their account.
If the user does not activate their account, Protoqual will send reminder emails.
The invitation sequence includes:
- 1 initial invitation email
- 2 reminder emails
Each email is sent one week apart.
While these emails are being sent, the user will appear with the status Sending Loop Invites.
Pending
Pending means the user has not activated their account and the invitation sequence has completed.
This occurs when the user did not accept the invitation after all reminder emails were sent.
At this point, the system stops sending invitation emails automatically.
Resending an Invitation
Managers can restart the invitation process by resending the invitation.
To resend an invitation:
- Locate the user in the list
- Click the refresh icon next to the user
- A new invitation email will be sent
This restarts the invitation sequence so the user can activate their account.
Once the user activates their account, their status will change to Active.
