How Patient Review Invitations Work
Many patients rely on online reviews when choosing a healthcare provider. Protoqual makes it easier for satisfied patients to share their experiences publicly.
Review invitations are based on survey feedback, creating a simple flow from patient experience to public review.
Step 1: Patients Complete a Survey
After a visit, patients may receive a survey about their experience.
One key question asks how likely they are to recommend the provider or practice, using a scale from 0 to 10.
Step 2: Positive Experiences Are Identified
Patients who rate their experience highly (9 or 10) are considered to have had a very positive experience.
These patients may be invited to share their experience publicly.
Step 3: Patients Are Invited to Leave a Review
Patients who receive an invitation can choose whether to continue.
If they do, they are directed to the provider’s Healthgrades page, where they can submit a public review.
Why This Approach Matters
- Encourages reviews from patients who had a great experience
- Keeps public feedback aligned with patient sentiment
- Gives practices the opportunity to review other feedback internally
Patient Choice
Leaving a public review is always optional. Patients decide whether or not to continue to the review site.
