Setting Up Patient Review Invitations

Protoqual can invite satisfied patients to leave a public review after completing a survey. To enable these invitations, a provider’s Healthgrades profile extension must be added to their Protoqual profile.

Once the profile is connected, promoter patients may be invited to leave a review on Healthgrades.


To enable review invitations, a Healthgrades profile link extension must be added to the provider’s information in Protoqual.

This can be done by either a practice administrator or the provider themselves.


Practice Administrators

  1. Go to My Practice
  2. Open the provider’s profile
  3. Add the provider’s Healthgrades profile extension

Providers

  1. Go to Account Details
  2. Add your Healthgrades profile extension

When entering the link, include only the profile extension, not the full URL.

Example

Instead of entering:

https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-jane-smith-abc123   

Enter only:

physician/dr-jane-smith-abc123   

Protoqual automatically adds the healthgrades.com/ portion of the link.


If a Provider Does Not Have a Healthgrades Profile

To receive review invitations, the provider must have a Healthgrades profile page.

Many providers already have a page automatically created by Healthgrades, even if they have never claimed it.

You can check by searching for the provider on Healthgrades:

https://www.healthgrades.com

If a profile exists, copy the profile extension from the page URL and add it to the provider’s Protoqual profile.

If the provider does not yet have a profile or it has not been claimed, the provider may need to claim or create their profile through Healthgrades.
